Purpose
If attackers start from a wide position, it's easier to receive centrally, which then opens up space further down-court.

  • Setup

    Four players are active every turn, the remainder line up behind (C)

  • Step 1

    (C) starts with the ball looks to pass to (WA) who performs a v-lead, first towards them before dodging into the centre to receive
    For this play to be effective, lead-up players must be conscious of initiating their lead from close proximity to the sideline

  • Step 2

    (WA) then looks to the opposite wing to see (GA) who first leads at them before dodging towards the top of the circle

  • Step 3

    (GA) then passes to (GS) who performs a dodge back to post manoeuvre.

  • Step 4

    Rotate all players to the next station in sequence, with (GS) returning to end of line (C)
    Advanced level teams may choose to let players remain in preferred positions

  • Step 5

    Advanced level progression: Introduce a (GK)
